No whammies...no whammies....STOP!

Well, looks like we landed right on the DOUBLE-WHAMMY! Last weekend was a rough one, as Baileigh had yet another ear infection. More accurately, the doc said, "She has a raging ear infection in BOTH ears." So, since she had one only 3 1/2 weeks ago they couldn't treat it with Amoxicillin and gave her Augmentin instead. Well, poor thing couldn't handle the Augmentin and threw up within 30 minutes of taking it every time we gave it to her. Then she got dehydrated b/c she didn't want to eat or drink anything so we had to go back to the doctor and they put her on Omnicef. She was able to keep the Omnicef down, but it gave her an awful case of the "poopies". We changed 13 poopie diapers on Monday! PEE-YOO!

This weekend she seems to be doing much better though (and is in a much better mood)! She is back to her normal self and is into everything. She is trying her best to walk, but hasn't quite put it all together though. She says "Daa-Dee" very clearly these days and when you point to Chip or a picture of him she will say "Daa-Dee". She carries on conversations all the time but we have no idea what she is saying. She says "momma" when she doesn't feel good and "ni-ni" for "no". She LOVES for you to sing Itsy-Bitsy Spider and squeals with delight if you do. When you finish the song she will clap for you! She is also still infatuated with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Whenever she hears the intro song for the show she seeks out the tv and claps and laughs. She has a total of 4 teeth now and is starting to eat some "real" foods. She loves to gnaw on apple slices, she eats up the Gerber cereal puffs, and likes sweet potatoes. We are going to try yogurt this week and see how she likes it.

Halloween is just around the corner so hopefully we will get some good Trick-or-Treating pics to put up next weekend!

Poor thing...we just kept her in her t-shirt b/c we had to change her clothes so many times when she would get sick.

Hey~
You just remind me in March or April that you want that icecream outfit and I will get it to you. It is a Kelly's Kids size 2 I think! It is really warm because it is a sweatsuit material!!!
Just remind me because I will forget!
