Christmas 2008

Christmas this year was very exciting!

Eventhough Baileigh isn't yet old enough to understand Christmas, we still carried on the traditions and made her a part of them. We went to Nana & Poppa's on Christmas Eve and had our family gathering there! Baileigh had lots of fun playing with all of her gifts. Then on Christmas Eve before I put her to bed I read her the "Littlest Angel" that explains the story of Jesus' birth and the wisemen who came bearing gifts.

(This was as close as Baileigh wanted to get to Santa)

(Giving her new baby doll some lovin)

On Christmas morning Baileigh got to see her gifts from Santa...she played for hours!
Baileigh wasn't sure what was going on when she got up on Christmas morning so Chip had to carry her over to the toys Santa left her!
She sat like this for several minutes when Chip put her down in front of her toys...she was so overwhelmed so she just sat and clapped!
On a whim, Santa left her this doll house...he didn't really think she would be that into it. But, it is her favorite toy!
Next, we got to visit with Bebe and JoJo. We had lots of fun hanging out and opening gifts!
It was a whirlwind of a holiday but we had a wonderful time with our friends and family. We missed seeing Aunt Laura, Uncle Colin, Scott and Catherine (who were in Memphis). Baileigh (and us) also missed Uncle Matt, Aunt Lauren, Aunt Brianna, and Uncle Jason. Matt & Lauren are in Nashville and are in the middle of a move to Tampa for a new job. And, on December 27th...Brianna and Jason became the proud parents of Evan Benjamin Davis!

2008 has been such a blessed year for us and we are looking forward to 2009!
