Pumpkin Patch

We took Baileigh this past weekend for her first trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Clanton, AL. The place was awesome! Baileigh loved being outside and looking around at everything. Of course, we tried to do a photo session but she wasn't real excited about sitting on the hay bales...so we snapped a few shots and kept on moving. We took a covered wagon hayride out to the patch and picked out 2 pumpkins (we are still in the process of carving). We will definitely go back next year when I think she will enjoy it even more because she will be able to play in the inflatable park and take pony rides. I actually think Chip is most excited about getting to go back because he wants to play in the inflatable park!

Baileigh really loves to be outdoors these days. She is usually happy any time we are outside. She and I walked on Sunday while daddy was away...and she loved the entire 5 miles we pulled! She just sings and looks around while we stroll her along. She is also beginning to learn cause and effect. This past week she has really been mischievous and one evening all she wanted to do was pull things out of the electrical socket. After telling her no at least 30 times and moving her away from the socket I finally had to spank her on her hand. She looked up at me with those big eyes like she couldn't believe I had done that - and then she cried (and I almost did). But that lasted all of 30 seconds...and she hasn't gone back to an electrical socket yet! She is very inquisitive these days and wants to see and touch everything. She especially loves to pull things off the coffee table - including daddy's coke (which of course, went all over the carpet and the couch - good thing we decided to wait until she was a little older to replace our carpet)! She has also learned to give "kisses". Now, her kisses are more like a licking of the face, but they are kisses nonetheless and are as sweet as they can be!

And last, but not least, we want to wish Uncle Matt a happy (late) 30th Birthday! We hope you had lots of fun and wish we could have been there to celebrate with you!
