The blog title was born long ago...in a far away land. It came about one night while my husband and I were still dating. We hadn't been together for too long but he decided to try and turn on his "charming side". He came up behind me and whispered in my ear..."so, I guess you've found your Prince Charming." Did I mention at this point we hadn't been together for very long (and I was a hard cookie to crack)? Well, I promptly leaned back and whispered "Don't you know? I don't believe in fairytales?" And here we are 10 years later. We've been married for 7 years and have a beautiful daughter. We've had bumps in the road, but have weathered them all and are as much in love today as the day we first met. So, I guess my outlook has changed. Perhaps I do believe in fairytales - just "Not Your Ordinary Fairytale."
