Labor Day Weekend...

Labor Day weekend was fun-filled and busy for us. It began on Saturday, when we went to Smith Lake to BeBe and JoJo's for the day. Laura, Colin, Scott and Catherine were all there and Ann, Roy, Evan, and Avery (Chip's cousins) came to visit as well. The kids had a fun time playing in the lake and tubing and as always it was good to see everyone. Chip and I even got in some jet ski time and Baileigh got to play in her float! I even "got air" on the jet ski, which is better than the last time when I turned it over - I always have to try and "out do" Chip. Bebe cooked a delicious shrimp boil and JoJo made homeade peach ice cream (she made something special for everyone...for me it was the special "fuhgettaboutit slush" that I love so much!)

And of course, on Saturday evening Bama played their first game of the season against Clemon...and ROLLED we did! Woo-hoo! Baileigh even had her own Bama cheerleading outfit (pics are included for your viewing enjoyment :)

On Sunday, I took Baileigh outside and gave her her first ever popsicle. She wasn't really sure about it at first, but then took to it. She is a mess these days, and is all over the place and into everything!

On Monday Chip worked, so Baileigh and I and Nana Tree went shopping. We took Baileigh to the Disney Store and Nana bought Baileigh a Minnie Mouse and Princess Atta (from the movie, "A Bug's Life"). I also bought her Halloween outfit while we were out...can't say yet what it is, as I want it to be a surprise! And, we bought daddy some shirts so that he stays on the cutting edge (now that he is getting old and all - hehe)! Then we went to Nana and Poppa's and played and went for a walk. Baileigh loves to be outside and will take a stroller ride anytime!

All in all it was a busy weekend but lots of fun. Now that football season is in full swing and holidays will be here before you know it, we are probably in for lots of busy weekends. We hope to see you all soon!
